QLD: Free National Screenwriters' Conference registrations

Screen Queensland is offering six free registrations to the Queensland industry for the upcoming National Screenwriters' Conference presented by the Australian Writers' Guild.
The biennial conference will run from the 16-18th February on Phillip Island in Victoria.
A biennial event presented by the Australian Writers' Guild the conference features panel discussions, case studies, networking opportunities, mentorships and exclusive masterclasses with international guests.
Practitioners wishing to apply for a free registration should fill out the application form and include a statement of intent (detailing a suggested meeting list, professional development opportunities and what you hope to achieve from attending the conference), a list of projects you intend to workshop, and a current CV and bio.
First time attendees to the conference who are wishing to apply for registration are required to apply with the support of an industry recognised mentor.
It is expected upon return that recipients will submit a written report to Screen Queensland detailing the outcomes and benefits of their experience at National Screenwriters' Conference, for publication online and in OnScreen.
Note: There will be only one registration allowed per company or where marketing the same projects. Participants who receive a registration will then pay for their own accommodation and travel as well as any other associated costs. Generally, Screen Queensland does not fund interstate marketing that is outside a development agreement.

Applicants will be advised if they have been successful by Tuesday 21 December 2010.
Early bird registrations for National Screenwriters' Conference close on 31 December 2010 for those who are not successful with their application through Screen Queensland.
