Platform X AWG Announces Winning Entries for Mike Jones Master Class

13 November, 2013

The Australian Writers Guild is pleased to announce the winning entries for Platform X – their inaugural interactive, multi-platform writing competition.

The initiative, generously supported by Screen NSW, presented writers from NSW and the ACT the opportunity to join the exciting growth area of interactive and multiplatform storytelling.

The successful applicants are:

Akos Armont

Deborah Cox

Catherine Fargher

Paulette Fisher

Alex Giles

Jasper Marlow

Jon Williams

Stuart Willis

There was a strong field of entries, and the AWG congratulates the successful applicants whose submissions exhibited real talent, vision and the potential to manifest over new and old platforms.
The eight selected writers will be provided a place on an intensive three-day master class run by Mike Jones in November and December. The master class will focus on development for the projects as well as writer-specific skills for the participants working across platforms.
