The Australian Writers’ Guild are proud to announce that we have been generously supported by Film Victoria to run a mentoring scheme in Victoria for an Indigenous writer. Â
Â
The goal of the Mentorship Program is to provide professional development for an Indigenous writer who has some experience in performance writing. Â
Â
The winner will receive critical analysis and supportive guidance from a professional writer who has reached significant status and levels of achievement.
Â
The mentorship consists of 40 hours of mentoring, which includes face-to-face meetings, telephone conferencing, emails and reading time.
Applicants must have an existing project to work on with their mentor.

Selection Criteria:
• You must have an existing project to work on with your mentor.
• You must have some previous experience in performance writing.
• You must also have written at least one work (in any field of performance writing) that has been produced, screened or publicly performed.
