AWG & The Corner Gallery are proud to present the FIRST in our series of "Meet the Creatives" here in WA.
Our first special guest is St. John Cowcher, he's a writer, actor, theatre-maker and puppeteer who has worked for many companies including Black Swan Theatre, Barking Geko, and The Last Great Hunt. He's an award winner and muli-nominee for the Martin Sims Award and has a new show called Ragnarøkkr - a metal-musical retelling of the classic Norse myth that starts its season at the Blue Room Theatre as part of this year's Fringe World Festival 2020 before hitting the road to tour to Adelaide and beyond.
St. John will join us at the Corner Gallery in Subiaco for an exclusive chat and Q+A about the creative process of adapting Norse mythology for the stage and we'll discuss the process of creating a Fringe show with the collaborative efforts of musicians and theatre makers from various different backgrounds. We'll also be discussing St. John's work on his past productions Frankie's and Man and the Moon before breaking for some light refreshments.
