The future of support for Australian playwrights and play development

Please note: this event will take place on Monday 12 August 2019 and not Monday 5 August 2019 as previously advised. We apologise for any inconvenience.

In the wake of PWA’s recent announcement, we invite playwrights and friends to attend a meeting on Monday evening at Belvoir Street Theatre, to join in a discussion on the future of support for Australian play and playwright development.

The evening will be hosted by playwright Suzie Miller, and will provide an open and constructive forum for everyone to gather and share concerns and priorities about our collective future.

If you are an Australian playwright, or part of the integral network of support for play development in Australia, we would love to see you and hear from you about your thoughts on the future of development in Australian theatre, and how playwrights and the broader industry can best support one another during this time.

RSVPs are essential as numbers are limited.

When: Monday 12 August 2019, 6-7:30pm
Where: Belvoir Street Theatre, 25 Belvoir St, Surry Hills NSW 2010
RSVP: RSVP through the website above. After you've entered your name, please click through the confirmation and payment pages (you will not be charged) until your ticket is finalised and you've received a confirmation email.
