Get Your Shorts On! commences with a burst of colour with Invisible Light followed by the inspiring story of photographer Tash Nannup in Revealing The Hidden World a musical interlude with The Shapes: Cool Rock Video & I’m A Genius whimsical comedy Normal People the delicate beauty of Sol Bunker the heart wrenching portrayal of grief in Outline a history of displacement as told with shadow puppets in Shadows Of Displacement and finishes with a flourish with the drama Reflection. Several of the Get Your Shorts On! films have been nominated for the upcoming WA Screen Awards highlighting the caliber of the films from this year’s program.
