Finnigan Wallace is a 24 year old Philosophy Major and compulsive gambler with a nihilistic outlook. When underworld boss Nick Fletcher forces him into an international drug-smuggling ring to repay his mounting debts Finnigan must realise that he has the free will to choose a path of moral responsibility.
‘Martingale’ was the 2015 winner of the Adelaide Film Festival INSITE Award for best unproduced screenplay.

The rehearsed reading will be followed by an audience discussion. The event is a development exercise designed to give the writers some valuable feedback before they embark on the next draft.
