Just lie back and think of punchlines as you’re guided through the ins and outs of the funny business by three of the most experienced pros in the game - Jason Burrows Rick Kalowski and Amanda Bishop. They promise to be gentle.Amanda BishopAmanda Bishop is an actor/singer/writer living in Sydney and New York. She has come to realise this is the glorified term for attempting to keep two taxation departments satisfied. Amanda has co-written and co-produced much of her own work for stage and some television. And as an actor she is grateful she has been allowed to contribute ideas to writing rooms for story and characters. Recently appearing in Law & Order Maximum Choppage Pypo sketches for The Dollhouse Pictures and play workshops Amanda is currently touring the Sydney Theatre Company’s Wharf Revue to capital cities.Jason BurrowsJason established Jungle in his apartment and has built it up to be one of the top comedy production companies in the country. Jason’s Executive Producer television credits include Here Come the Habibs! No Activity A Moody Christmas The Moodys and The Elegant Gentleman’s Guide to Knife Fighting. In the factual sector his credits include Between a Frock and a Hard Place and As You Dreamt It for the ABC and comedy documentary The Super Dave Odyssey for Channel 10. In television commercials he has worked for all of the top advertising agencies in the country on spots that have received awards at AWARD D&AD and Cannes.Rick KalowskiCurrent ABC Head of Comedy Rick is a multi award winning comedy writer and producer and has frequently been named among The Sydney Morning Herald’s ‘Most Influential People in Television’. His own credits include co-creator/co-writer/executive producer of the controversial hit sitcom At Home with Julia and head writer of long running sketch comedy series Comedy Inc – The Late Shift. At ABC he has overseen more than 20 series and 70 hours of AACTA- and Logie award-winning scripted comedy for TV and iview including the recent ABC Comedy Showroom pilot season Working Dog’s UtopiaThe Katering Show Season 2 Upper Middle BoganPlease Like MeSoul Mates The Moodys and the forthcoming Rosehaven.Moderator - Ian SimmonsIan Simmons has been a head writer / script producer for Andrew Denton Good News WeekThe Glass HouseThe Sideshow & Wednesday Night Fever.
