The first episode of WENTWORTH became the most watched Australian drama series premiere in Foxtel history… Its 4th season is about to air.It screens in more than 90 countries around the world spawning adaptations in Germany and The Netherlands…The New York magazine called WENTWORTH “a ruthlessly dark drama similar to Breaking Bad…”In an age where ‘branded’ content is highly sought after by producers and networks the ‘re-boot’ of existing material is part of that trend. And there can be no better example of this than WENTWORTH which has its own identity but with touches of the original Prisoner series.Join us as writers Marcia Gardner and Pete McTighe come from Melbourne for this one off event to share with us their storylining and writing process on this award winning series. This is how it’s done folks…***Marcia Gardner has worked in the Australian film and tv industry for 20 years writing script editing and story editing on multiple series including ALL SAINTSBLUE HEELERSHEARTBREAK HIGH and MEDIVAC.
