Are you working on a feature script intended for submission for initial funding or further development?This workshop is specifically aimed at screenwriters with a feature film script in development (rough draft or further). It is designed around an individualised process that will develop your story world allowing the reader (and ultimately the audience) to enter your script world with understanding and interest. It will concentrate on the first fifteen pages of your work which will include examining complex character creation the dramatics of individual scene craft and the way the first fifteen pages need to usher the audience into all of the key elements of your story and where it might go.Before the one-day workshop you will need to supply the first fifteen pages in screenplay format and a one page synopsis of the feature film script you are currently working on. Ron Elliott has written many episodes of television drama including Home and Away Ship to Shore Bush Patrol Fast Track Minty and Parallax. He wrote the telemovie Southern Cross. He has script edited Marx and Venus feature scripts and directed the feature film Justice as well as drama television for the ABC. He was a Member of the Board of Screen West for three years and continues to contribute to a number of assessment panels and awards judging. He has taught at WAAPA Curtin University and delivered a number of special courses around the state. Ron is currently on the West Australian AWG committee and was one of the judges of the 2015 Bill Warnock Award. Ron has also written a number of novels.
