Please join us for breakfast and a round table conversation with Jamie Hilton head of See pictures about the company’s work in supporting Australian Screenwriters. Jaimie has just completed the screen adaptation of Tim Winton's BREATH directed by Simon Baker.See Pictures established in 2010 by Jaimie is one of Australia's busiest production companies. It develops finances and produces large cast-driven and small concept-driven films. See Pictures also works with international producers to navigate Australian co-production & location incentives and finance. The company’s 2015 releases include supernatural thriller BACKTRACK (Adrien Brody Sam Neill) THE LITTLE DEATH (Josh Lawson Bojana Novakovic) and animated short MARTHA THE MONSTER (Rose Byrne Bobby Carnavale). See Pictures is currently also in production with Ben Lucas' sci-fi OTHERLIFE and Chris Debney's ATOMICA.ABOUT JAMIE HILTONJamie Hilton heads See Pictures. His theatrical debut was Claire McCarthy’s THE WAITING CITY shot in India in 2009 starring Joel Edgerton and Radha Mitchell. He executive produced Julie Leigh’s SLEEPING BEAUTY selected in Official Competition Cannes 2011. In 2014 Jamie produced supernatural thriller BACKTRACK starring Adrien Brody and Sam Neill for writer/director Michael Petroni (NARNIA DAWN TREADER THE RITE) THE LITTLE DEATH and the animated short film MARTHA THE MONSTER starring Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale. Also in 2014 Jamie Executive Produced WYRMWOOD for the Roache-Turner brothers which was released in Australia and the USA in 2015. Jamie is currently in production on OTHERLIFE written by Gregory Widen (HIGHLANDER BACKDRAFT) based on the novel SOLITARE by Kelley Eskridge; and the sci-fi ATOMICA with writer Nicholas Lathouris (MAD MAX: FURY ROAD). Jamie has produced work for Michael Petroni Keir McFarlane Joseph Kahn Claire McCarthy Spencer Susser and Michael Spiccia as well as many emerging filmmakers. His films have screened and won awards at Cannes Toronto Sydney New York Rome Paris and London. Jamie was voted top producer at the 2012 Melbourne 37 South Market by attending international financiers. In Cannes 2013 Jamie was featured in Screen International’s ‘Future Leaders’ showcase one of 30 producers around the world.RSVP is essential - by 12pm Friday 29 July.
