This June we’re bringing back the ever popular Talk to Us event!
Where are you now? Where do you want to be? How can we help?
This networking event is an excellent opportunity for Associate and Student members to have a series of ‘speed dating’ style meetings with seasoned industry mentors.
This is your chance to ask all the burning industry questions you can’t find answers to anywhere else.
Want to know how to get an agent? Now you can ask. Want to know the pathways to get from where you are now to where you want to be? We can help. Need general career advice? We’re here.
The way it works is that you get ten minutes for each meeting (four in all) and you can talk about any aspect of your writing life. The bell will ring and then it’s off to the next meeting. We’ll work out the order and whom you meet so we can make the most of your time.
You will also participate in two round tables where you can discuss anything, share experience with your colleagues and find new friends and collaborators. Each round table will be moderated by an experienced screenwriter/developer and an early career screenwriter.
Places are strictly limited to current AWG Associate and Student members only and booking and paying online is essential. To check your AWG membership status under My Account here.
First come, first served.
WHEN: Wednesday 22 June 2022, 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
WHERE: Bells Hotel, 157 Moray St, South Melbourne VIC 3205
TICKETS: $15, current AWG Associate or Student members only. Full members or non-AWG members who book will have their ticket refunded.
