In conjunction with the Australian Directors' Guild, acclaimed writer, Michael Lucas, and equally-acclaimed director, Emma Freeman, will speak on how writers and directors collaborate for the optimum result on screen.
Emma and Michael worked together on Seasons 1 and 2 of The Newsreader, the award-winning ABC TV drama-series. Michael was the creator and lead writer, and Emma directed all the episodes.
A unique opportunity to hear from both as to how they worked together on The Newsreader, and also their experiences on other titles including both TV and film.
